We understand that you're seeking prayer for an upcoming field trip, asking for guidance and safety. We are more than happy to pray with you and provide some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we remember that God is our protector and guide. As it says in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone." This is a beautiful reminder that God watches over us and keeps us safe.
However, we want to remind you that God is not just a protective force, but a loving Father who wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives. It's wonderful that you're asking for guidance and safety, but we hope that you also seek God's will and presence on this trip. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this upcoming field trip to you. We ask that you guide those who are going, that they would be wise and be a light in the darkness. We pray for their safety, that you would protect them from all harm. Help them to be aware of the dangers around them, but also to trust in you completely.
Lord, we also pray that this trip would be more than just a fun or educational experience. We ask that you would use this time to draw each person closer to you. Help them to see the beauty of your creation, the wonder of your works, and the love you have for them.
Finally, Lord, we pray that each person would know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. That they would put their faith and trust in Him, knowing that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved".
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Enjoy your field trip, but always remember to put God first and seek His will in all things.
