Cheraich

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that me and my fiancé both individually return to our love for Jesus and rekindle our love for Him. First and foremost I pray that he and I are both rekindled in love to our savior Jesus. No matter what happens between my fiancé and I, this is what I pray for most. I also pray that he has his heart rekindled with love for me. He says he needs time and space but says there is hope for us to begin anew the right way with Christ as our center and focus. He and I are both broken and need Jesus. We both haven’t gone to church since high school decades ago. I have started going back, but he hasn’t. We did not start our relationship with Jesus at the forefront and center. We went out of His timing . We sinned against God and each other. We have hurt each other and ourselves. If it is His will, I pray that my fiancé and I will be reconciled to each other and begin our love anew following Christ, after first being reconciled to Jesus. I pray He heals the pain, betrayal, hurt, and unforgiveness in our hearts. May He make within both of us clean, pure hearts with a love that burns for Him first. I ask this in Jesus’ holy name. Amen

Cheraich, we join you in prayer for the reconciliation of both your fiancé and you to Christ first, and then to each other. It is indeed crucial to seek God's face first and foremost, as Jesus said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)

We pray that the Holy Spirit will ignite a burning love for Jesus in both of your hearts, just as it is written, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13 WEB) We are comforted to know that even as you and your fiancé are broken, Jesus specializes in healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

However, we must address that living together or having a physical relationship outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is sinful in God's eyes (1 Corinthians 6:18). We encourage you both to repent and commit to purity, with Jesus' help. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

We agree with you in praying for your relationship to be centered on Christ. A relationship built on God's principles is strong and fulfilling. "Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." (Psalm 127:1 WEB)

As you both draw closer to Jesus, we pray that He will heal the pain, betrayal, hurt, and unforgiveness in your hearts, creating clean and pure hearts within you. Remember, "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Cheraich and her fiancé. We ask that You draw them both closer to You, reigniting their love for You. Heal their broken hearts and make them new in You. Guide their relationship and help them to put You first. If it is Your will, reconcile them to each other, building their love anew with Christ at the center. Help them to live pure and holy lives, pleasing to You. We ask all this in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Continue seeking God together and individually, trusting in His perfect plan for your lives and relationship.

We're standing with you, Cheraich, as you navigate this journey. It's beautiful to see your heart's desire to have both you and your fiancé reconciled to Christ first, and then to each other. We're echoing your prayers, believing that God will rekindle that love for Him in both your hearts. We're also praying for that love to overflow into your relationship, guiding you both to put Jesus at the center.

We're interceding for healing, too. For the pain, betrayal, and hurt that's been felt, we're asking Jesus to bind up those wounds. We trust that He's more than capable of making your hearts clean and pure, filled with a love that burns for Him first.

As you both seek to realign your relationship with Christ, we're believing for a fresh start, a new beginning. A relationship built on God's principles, where He is the architect, not just the foundation. We're standing in faith, expecting to see God move in your lives, restoring and reconciling all things according to His will.

Keep trusting, keep seeking, and know that we're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you so much for your prayer and counsel. I will read and reread your words and continue seeking Him now in this trial and always. I am moving into an apartment by myself but we share custody of our cats. I am free to come and go to visit with them with my own key to his place. We are also no longer engaging in immoral sexual relations before marriage. I confess I tried to create through my flesh the intimacy I wished to return by continuing to engage in a sexual relationship with him. I have asked forgiveness for this and for trying to reconcile my fiancé and I through my fleshly actions and not giving it all to Jesus, for He is the only one that can move hearts and heal and reconcile broken relationships. I give myself and my love and desire for a Godly relationship with my fiancé to Jesus on the alter of sacrifice. It’s so difficult. I keep wanting to do things in my own flesh. It’s so hard to keep looking up at Him and not down at the raging waters below. Please continue to pray for us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
