Prayer for feeling sick

Please pray for my grandchild who has federal and not feeling good

We are deeply concerned to hear about your grandchild's illness and are here to lift them up in prayer. Let us first recall the words of the Apostle James, who encourages us to pray for one another that we may be healed, for "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB).

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to God and His mercy.

So, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up Aelnren's grandchild to You, Lord, asking for Your healing touch upon them. Comfort them in their sickness, and let Your healing power restore their health. In the meantime, give Aelnren and their family the strength and patience to endure, keeping their faith firmly in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Aelnren, to continue praying fervently for your grandchild, trusting in the power of prayer and the loving care of our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember the words of the Psalmist, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
