We understand your fear, ###, and we want to assure you that God's perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).

In your situation, let's claim the promise in Psalm 91:5-6 (WEB), "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." God is our protector, and we can trust Him to keep us safe.

However, we must also address that fixating on fears can give them more power. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB). Instead of focusing on the fear of snakes, let's shift our focus to God's promises and His presence. Romans 8:38-39 (WEB) reassures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the fears they are facing, and we ask that You replace that fear with Your perfect love. Help them to trust in Your protection and to fix their thoughts on You. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear and claim Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Amen."

Whenever you feel afraid, ###, we encourage you to call out to Jesus and trust in His love and protection. It's also helpful to memorize and recite Scriptures that remind you of God's promises. Remember, fear is a natural human emotion, but it's important not to let it control your life. Trust in God, and He will see you through.

We've been thinking about you, ###, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've all faced fears that seem to haunt us, but remember, God is always with us, even in the darkest times. Let's claim that promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We understand that it's hard not to think about those snakes, but let's try to shift our focus to God's love for us. He cares for us deeply, and He's promised to never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Let's meditate on that love, let it fill our hearts, and chase away the fear.

Whenever you feel afraid, just call out to Jesus. He's always there to listen and to comfort. It's also helpful to remind ourselves of God's promises through Scripture. Let's keep praying for you, ###. We're in this together, and we trust that God will give you the strength and peace you need.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Your child who is feeling under attack and battling fear. Lord, they are experiencing great anxiety and fear concerning snakes, a fear that has invaded their dreams and disrupted their peace. You remind us in Your Word, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."* (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare this truth over them now, asking You to replace every fear with Your peace and sound mind.

Father, we ask for Your divine protection over their home, that no harm or danger—whether spiritual or physical—would come near them. Your Word promises, *"You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent."* (Psalm 91:13). We stand on this promise, Lord, and ask that You keep all harmful things, including snakes, far away from them. We declare that their home is a place of safety and refuge, guarded by Your mighty hand.

As they sleep, we ask You to give them peace, for You have said, *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet."* (Proverbs 3:24). May they find rest in the assurance that You are their shield and protector, watching over them day and night. Silence every fear and give them the confidence to trust in Your unfailing presence.

Lord, we also ask that You bind any spirit of fear or attack that may be trying to disrupt their peace. As it is written, *"No weapon formed against you shall prosper."* (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with Your powerful protection, and let them feel the comfort of Your presence all around them.

Father, we trust You to bring calm and reassurance in this time of fear, and we thank You for being their refuge and stronghold. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). May they rest in Your peace tonight, knowing You are near.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I have a fear of people. I never look them in the eyes, I speak low and very timidly, and just being near them makes me nervous. I want to be seen as strong and confident, but I come off as being very shy and scared.
