We stand with you in prayer, ###, and we trust in the power of God to bring justice and truth to light.
Firstly, let us remember that God is our ultimate judge and protector. As it is written in Psalm 27:1, "Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?" Your friend and her son need not fear the lies and deceit of others, for God is their strength and salvation.
However, we must also acknowledge that God desires truth and righteousness in all our dealings. As it is said in Proverbs 12:22, "Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do things that are true are his delight." We rebuke the lies and deceit of the estranged husband and father, and we pray that the truth will be revealed in this situation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister in Christ and her son. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing, the lies that are being told, and the injustice that is being done. We ask, Lord, that you would intervene in this situation. Expose the lies, reveal the truth, and bring justice to this case. Protect your children, Lord, and give them the strength and courage to stand firm in their faith, knowing that you are their ultimate judge and protector.
Father, we also pray for the estranged husband and father. We pray that his heart would be turned away from deceit and towards the truth. We pray that he would be convicted of his sins and seek forgiveness and reconciliation.
Lord, we know that you are sovereign over all things, and we trust that you will work all things together for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose. We ask all these things in the mighty name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, let us encourage your friend with the words of Romans 8:31, "What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" No matter the outcome of the court case, God is for them, and he will never leave them nor forsake them.
