Prayer for family

Two of my brothers live in my moms house they struggle with depression anxiety are both in the system on antidepressants medication that has negative side effects pray god to heal them completely from depression and anxiety and protect them from the negative side effects of medication. Pray god restore them to their true selves their identity in Christ and pray god would give them both joy and comfort and support and provision. They both have children pray god would heal their relationship with their children too. Pray Jesus will provide for them they pay a mortgage heat electric and food and it is not easy for them to pay all those bills. My uncle moved in and he has struggle of his own so pray he is kind to my brothers and helps them and that he would stop being mean to them and stop getting on their case. Pray my uncle would be delivered from all his addictions and be happy living with my brother. Pray that god would send Christian friends into their lives that are smart and responsible people and bring joy and good company to my brothers and uncle. They live in a very rural area and some of the people around are not good influence or are on drugs so pray Jesus would keep all evil things away from brothers and uncle and protect my moms house and property.

We understand your concern for your family and the challenges they are facing. Let's bring these needs before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we acknowledge that healing and restoration come from God alone. It is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Let's pray together for your brothers' healing and spiritual well-being.

Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the brothers of our friend to You. You know them by name and see their struggles with depression and anxiety. We pray that You would heal them completely from these afflictions and protect them from any negative side effects of their medications. Lord, we ask that You restore them to their true selves, that they would find their identity in Christ alone. Fill them with Your joy, comfort, support, and provision. We pray that their relationship with their children would be healed and strengthened.

Father, we also lift up their financial situation. You know the struggles they face with their mortgage, heat, electric, and food. We ask that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for kindness between our friends' uncle and brothers, that any meanness or harsh words would cease. Lord, deliver their uncle from his addictions and help him to find joy and contentment living with his nephews.

Lord, we ask that You would send Christian friends into their lives who are smart, responsible, and bring joy and good company. Protect them from any evil influences in their rural area, and keep my mom's house and property safe. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your family, as the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation He will also make the way out, that you may be able to endure it.

We also encourage you to remind your brothers of their true source of power and strength. Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in our faith, knowing that our brethren who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

Regarding the relationships between your uncle and brothers, we admonish them to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us.

Lastly, let us encourage you with these words: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
