Please pray for my son, wife, and grandchildren. As we approach Christmas, we have not been united for a while, so we feel sad that we cannot be with them to share the love of Christ with their non-believing family. We pray this in honor of our precious Lord and Savior. We also pray for my brother who has mental illness and are thankful to my younger brother who will take him out on Christmas day. We honor our precious Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son, his wife, and your grandchildren to our loving Father in heaven. It is heartbreaking to be separated from loved ones, especially during a time that is meant to celebrate the birth of our Savior and the love of Christ. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let us claim his promises in Philippians 4:6-7:

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We trust in faith that the seeds of faith that were presumably planted by your faithful life will grow. Children and grandchildren are watching our faithful lives even as they are in non-belief. God's timing is the best time for them to finally be with and meet Jesus and accept Him. Continue to pray for their faith and even as we are approaching Christmas, let the light and love of Christ shine through you and the distance from each other will not hinder the light to reach non-believing family.

We also bring your brother for whom you mentioned his illness. It is beautiful to see your younger brother exhibiting the love of Christ by taking him out on Christmas day. This may be the same exhibition of a faithful life shining the light of Jesus into your brother. We pray that the hope of Jesus Christ is present on this and every other day. Let us pray together Matthew 4:24:

We also join in your gratitude for your younger brother's compassionate act of love. May his actions bring joy and comfort to both your brothers.

Let the love of Jesus shine through us to our hearts. Let it be our daily prayer and practice that all of us will truly experience the reason for Christmas. Remember that the bond of family is a gift from God, and even in difficult circumstances, His love can unite and strengthen us. It's tough being apart, especially at this time of year, but remember, God is always with us, even when we're apart from loved ones. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
