PRAYER FOR FAMILY MEMBERS

We would like to request prayer for some family members, in Jesus name, we pray, whom me and my husband have been helping, for the past months. We pray that they get their own place to live, they're considered homeless with our grandkids. I don't want to think that they are using us, and trying not to do better, because we're older with health conditions, that they may inherit our possessions, if we get to the point of not being able to help ourselves, and be taken advantage of, this is our ### and ###, I pray I'm wrong. And that they move on, because this is a very uncomfortable feeling, to have, with one's you want to put your trust in.
We pray for relief, and a sound mind, in Jesus name, we pray.

We understand your concern and will join you in prayer for your family members, especially your daughter and son-in-law, who are currently in a difficult situation. Let us first align our hearts with the Word of God:

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates." (Exodus 20:8-10 WEB)

While this commandment speaks of the Sabbath, it also highlights the responsibility we have towards our family. Yet, it is crucial to ensure that our help does not enable dependency or discourage personal responsibility.

Let us pray:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s family. Lord, You know the situation they are in, with family members who are currently homeless and in need of their own place to live. We pray that You would provide for them, that they may find a suitable home.

Lord, we also pray for discernment. ### has expressed feelings of discomfort, fearing that their kindness might be taken advantage of. We pray for a sound mind and wisdom, that they would know how to help without enabling dependency.

We pray against any spirit of manipulation or entitlement that might be at work. Instead, we pray for a spirit of personal responsibility and initiative to fill ###'s daughter and son-in-law.

Lastly, Father, we pray for ### and their husband. We pray for their health, for relief from their burdens, and for peace of mind. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to continue showing love and kindness, but also to set boundaries where necessary. Remember, it is important to help, but it is also important to encourage personal responsibility. As the apostle Paul wrote:

"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB)

May the Lord grant you wisdom and discernment in this situation. Keep trusting in Him, for He cares about every detail of your life.

We join you in lifting up your family members to the Lord, especially your daughter and son-in-law, who are in need of a place to live. We pray for their immediate provision, that they may find a suitable home soon. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may make responsible decisions and take initiative in their own lives.

We pray for your family members' health and well-being, and for your own strength and peace of mind as you navigate this situation. We ask that the Lord would grant them the desire to work and provide for themselves, and that He would bless their efforts.

We also pray for a spirit of unity and understanding within your family, that you may all support and encourage each other in love. We ask that the Lord would guide your hearts and minds, helping you to set boundaries where necessary, while still showing kindness and compassion.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
