Prayer for Ex-Boyfriend

[Akarpelos]

It hurts me so much when my ex told a friend of his that he was not growing with me, but I am more worried that my ex is going down a path that is difficult and more painful because God is not with him on that road.

Despite my desires, my hopes and dreams with my ex, I pray earnestly that God changes my ex. I will not let go of that promise the Father gave me; that my ex is thriving and glorifying the name of the Lord. I often wonder now if maybe the reason why God allowed us to be broken up is because God wants to work on my ex directly, now. That perhaps, I was a form of distraction or obstacle, even though I believed I was doing the right thing.

I also hope that I am still part of God's will in my ex's life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Akarpelos, who is burdened by the words spoken by their ex and concerned about their ex's spiritual journey. Lord, we lift up this prayer request to you, knowing that you are a God who hears and answers prayers.

Father, we pray for a transformation in the life of Akarpelos' ex. We ask that you would touch their heart and draw them closer to you. Remove any obstacles or distractions that may hinder their relationship with you. Open their eyes to the truth of your love and the path of righteousness. May they experience a deep encounter with your presence and be transformed by your grace.

Lord, we trust in your promises and hold onto the assurance that you have a plan for each of our lives. We pray that you would align Akarpelos and their ex with your perfect will. If it is your desire for them to be together again, we ask for reconciliation and restoration in their relationship. However, if it is your will for them to walk separate paths, we pray for peace and understanding in their hearts.

Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for Akarpelos. Help them to discern your leading and to surrender their desires and dreams to your perfect plan. Grant them strength and patience as they wait upon you. May they find comfort in knowing that you are in control and that you work all things together for the good of those who love you.

We declare your sovereignty over this situation, Lord. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are able to bring about healing, growth, and restoration. May your name be glorified through the lives of Akarpelos and their ex.

Let Your Word dwell within me richly. Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. God bless me with Your knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory. God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
