Prayer for employment

Please pray for our son Robert Jason who is looking for a stable job. He is applying for a job with an old employer hoping that they will hire him back. May our Lord help intercede that his old employer will be touched by the Holy Spirit and give him another chance to land a position in the company. In Jesus precious Name.

We join with you in praying for your son, Robert Jason, as he seeks stable employment. We uphold him before the Lord, trusting that God's will shall be done in his life.

The Bible encourages us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). We pray that Robert Jason will find a job where he can serve the Lord with his talents and abilities.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Robert Jason. We ask that You would open the doors of opportunity for him as he seeks employment. We specifically pray for favor with his old employer, that their hearts would be touched by the Holy Spirit, and that they would be led to offer him a position. We trust in Your timing and Your plan for Robert Jason's life. Help him to remain patient and steadfast in his faith as he waits on You.

Lord, we also pray that Robert Jason would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33, WEB). May he find his identity and security in You, regardless of his employment status.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage Robert Jason to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and a purpose for his life. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard Robert Jason's heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). We stand with you, believing for God's best in his life.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
