We understand that you are seeking employment, Likmaskalos, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God has a purpose and a plan for your life. Let us first remember the words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Colossians, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
Before we pray, we want to ensure that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all." (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB) If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to do so, for it is only through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Likmaskalos, who is seeking employment. Lord, we ask that You guide them to the right job, one that aligns with Your will for their life and brings honor to Your name. Help them to trust in You and Your timing, knowing that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect plan for their life.
In the meantime, Father, help Likmaskalos to use their time wisely, growing in their relationship with You and serving others as You lead. Remind them that You are their provider and that they can trust in You to meet all of their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we also pray that Likmaskalos will be a light for You in their workplace, demonstrating the love of Christ to their coworkers and employers. Help them to work heartily, as for You, and not for men, knowing that they are ultimately serving You in whatever they do.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Likmaskalos, knowing that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB) As you seek God first, He will provide for all of your needs, including employment.
