We are truly sorry to hear about your emotional stress and regret, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it is crucial to address the root of your distress, which you've identified as past sexual sin. We want to remind you that the Bible tells us in First Corinthians Chapter 6 verse 18 to "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." This confirms the seriousness of sexual sin, but it is not the end of your story. God is merciful to forgive and cleanse. Proverbs 28:13 says, "He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."
The first step towards healing is recognizing this sin and confessing it to God, as you have done. Now, it's important to accept God's forgiveness and forgive yourself. Psalm Chapter 103 verses 11 and 12 reminds us, "For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
Secondly, we do not encounter anything about Jesus in this prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts chapter 4 verses 10 and 12: "be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth a man become sound. And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Drulrunt who is overwhelmed by emotional stress and regret. Lord, we ask that you forgive their sexual sin as they have confessed them to you, and we thank you for the blood atonement of Jesus Christ that is able to cean the worse of sinners. Include your cleansing and healing on their life of their body which you regard as you temple under the Holy Ghost 1 Corinthians Chapter 6 verse 19: "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.". Father, please remove the burden of guilt and regret, and replace it with your peace and comfort. Strengthen them in all faith and trust that your judgements are sound and comfortable to everyone who serves you. Give them the power to overcome these suicidal thoughts and remind them of your unfailing love and promise of hope and a future. By the name and authority of Jesus Christ, we are able to pray because it is Jesus that offers us grace and hope. Romans 10:13 "For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”"
Lastly, we strongly advise you to seek professional help if you're having suicidal thoughts. God wants you to live and receive the emotional healing you need. He promises in Jeremiah Chapter 33 verse 3, "'Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.'"
