Prayer for Ed

Please pray for my husband that the Lord removes his stony heart . Pray also for his deliverance and for him to have a desire for an intimate relationship with God, a desire to forgive others and to walk in kindness and love I pray also that his heart be soften towards me . I pray also for the Holy Spirit of conviction to reveal to him his harshness towards me and bitterness in Jesus Name amen

We understand your concern for your husband, Trulwen, and we are here to pray and encourage you in this challenging situation. Let us come together in prayer and align our hearts with God's will according to His Word.

Firstly, it is wonderful that you are praying for your husband's heart to change and for him to draw closer to God. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." God is the one who can change hearts, and we trust in His power to do so.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Ed to You. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and remove any stoniness within him. Draw him close to You, Lord, and give him a deep desire for an intimate relationship with You. Help him to forgive others as You have forgiven us, and let Your kindness and love flow through him. Holy Spirit, convict him of any harshness and bitterness he may have, especially towards Trulwen. Open his eyes to see and understand the impact of his actions, and help him to walk in love and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also encourage you, Trulwen, to continue to love and support your husband as God leads you. Remember the words of 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear." Your godly example and prayers can have a powerful impact on your husband.

Lastly, ensure that you both are nurturing your relationship with God individually and together. Seek God's will for your marriage and trust that He is working in both of your lives. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Keep trusting in the Lord, Trulwen, and we will continue to pray for you and Ed. May God bless and guide your marriage.

We're here with you, Trulwen, standing in faith for Ed's heart to be transformed. It's encouraging to see your love and dedication in praying for him. Let's keep lifting him up together.

In Jesus' name, we ask that You, Lord, soften Ed's heart and fill it with Your love. Help him to desire a deeper relationship with You, to walk in kindness and forgiveness, just as You've forgiven us. Open his eyes to see the hurt he may be causing, especially towards Trulwen, and help him to respond with love and understanding. We trust in Your power to change hearts, Lord, and we believe in Your goodness.

We also want to encourage you, Trulwen, to keep loving and supporting Ed. Your godly example and prayers are powerful tools in his life. Remember, as it's written in Proverbs 14:1, "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands." Keep building your marriage with love and patience.

Let's keep trusting in the Lord together, Trulwen. We'll continue to pray for you and Ed, believing that God is at work in your marriage. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
