Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a heavy heart, lifting up Raymond and his family in prayer. We acknowledge that you are a God who hears and answers prayers, and we trust in your unfailing love and mercy.
Lord, we bring before you Raymond's son who is struggling with drug addiction for the past 10 years. We pray that you would intervene in his life and break the chains of addiction that hold him captive. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over Raymond's son's life, believing that you can set him free from the bondage of addiction.
Father, we ask for your divine wisdom and guidance for Raymond and his wife as they navigate through this difficult situation. Give them strength, patience, and perseverance to continue supporting their son while also setting healthy boundaries. Your Word reminds us in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Help them to trust in your timing and to never lose hope.
We pray for the pastors and Christian rehab centers that have been involved in Raymond's son's life. We ask for your anointing upon them as they minister to him. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and the right words to speak into his life. May your Holy Spirit touch his heart and bring about a genuine desire for change and transformation.
Lord, we also pray for Raymond and his wife's emotional and mental well-being. Comfort them in their distress and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them of your promise in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Finally, we pray for protection over Raymond's family and their home. Shield them from any harm or danger caused by their son's actions. Give them wisdom in dealing with difficult situations and guide them in making the right decisions.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect plan and surrender this situation into your hands. May your will be done in Raymond's son's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the peace of God be with you, Raymond, and your family.
God bless you,
The Prayer Team
