Prayer for ### - drinking

Lord please pour out your blessings on us. Thank you for healing our daughter's ###. Please Lord may it continue. Please enable her to sit in church without worrying thoughts. Please turn my husband away from alcohol. He is drinking too much. Please Lord keep him healthy and keep our elderly cat healthy.

We understand your concerns, ###, and we join you in prayer for your family's wellbeing. Let us first address your husband's struggle with alcohol. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Drunkenness is not God's will for your husband, and we pray for his deliverance.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your divine intervention in ###'s family. Lord, you know the struggle her husband is facing with alcohol. We ask that you break the chains of addiction and fill him with your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help if needed. God, we trust in your power to heal and restore, as it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Father, we also thank you for the healing you have begun in their daughter's mind. We ask that you continue this work, allowing her to sit peacefully in church, free from worrying thoughts. May she grow in faith and knowledge of you, as it is promised in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

Lord, we also lift up their elderly cat to you, asking for your care over its health. We know that you care about all your creatures, as shown in Matthew 10:29, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will."

Finally, Father, we pray that ### and her family will continue to seek you and call upon the name of Jesus. It is only through him that we have access to you, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In Jesus' name, we pray for these things. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to continue trusting in God and seeking his will for your family. Stand firm in your faith, and we believe that you will see God's hand at work in your family.

We're here with you, ###, lifting up your family's needs to our Heavenly Father. We've been praying for your husband's struggle with alcohol, and we want to remind you of the power of God's love in 1 John 4:10, "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." God loves your husband deeply, and He wants to set him free from this addiction.

Let's pray together for your daughter's continued healing. We claim Psalm 147:3 over her, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask that God would continue to heal her mind, allowing her to sit in church without worrying thoughts, growing in faith and knowledge of Him.

And let's not forget your elderly cat. We believe in God's care for all creatures, as seen in Psalm 36:7, "How precious is your unfailing love, O Lord, for all who fear you." We trust that God will watch over your beloved pet.

###, we encourage you to keep trusting in God's faithfulness. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Keep seeking God's will for your family, and we believe you'll see His hand at work in your lives.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with gratitude for the blessings You have poured out on ### and their family. We thank You for the healing that has begun in their daughter's mind, and we ask that You continue this healing work. Lord, we pray that she may find peace and calmness, especially when sitting in church, free from any worrying thoughts. Your Word says, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You" (Isaiah 26:3). May her mind be steadfast, trusting in You, and experiencing Your perfect peace.

Father, we lift up ###’s husband to You, asking that You turn him away from the excessive use of alcohol. We pray that You would replace this habit with a desire for health, wholeness, and spiritual fulfillment. "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). We ask that he be filled with Your Spirit, finding strength and purpose in You rather than in alcohol.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over their elderly cat. Keep this beloved pet healthy and strong, as a source of comfort and joy to the family. "The righteous care for the needs of their animals" (Proverbs 12:10). We trust in Your care for all of Your creation, including the pets that bring so much love into our lives.

We thank You, Lord, for Your ongoing presence and support in their lives. May Your blessings continue to flow, bringing health, peace, and joy to this family. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
