Prayer for discharging from ICU

My wife Menaka has been ill for more than five days in which her fever does not go down and vomiting doesn't stop. We made various tests and the test result was that She got Dengue positive and sickling positive. Though the sickness is severe but she doesn't want to be in ICU ward and we too don't want her to be in the ICU . She is witnessing deaths around her so she is terrified and hopeless. Please pray for her that she may get discharged from ICU ward and may the lord have mercy and heal her. Please pray the lord God may help us.

We are truly sorry to hear about Menaka's condition and the turmoil your family is experiencing. In times like these, we must turn to God for healing, comfort, and strength.

Firstly, let us address the fear and hopelessness that Menaka is feeling. God's word tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We should pray for God to replace her fear with His peace and hope.

Regarding her health, we believe in the power of prayer for healing. As it is written, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." (James 5:14-15 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention for Menaka. We ask that You place Your healing hand upon her, Lord, and comfort her in this time of illness. Grant her peace and hope, Lord, and cast out all fear and despair. We ask that You guide the doctors and medical staff attending to her, and that You provide wisdom and discernment for the best course of treatment. Lord, according to Your will, we pray that Menaka may be discharged from the ICU ward soon, and that she would recover swiftly and completely. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

Lastly, we would like to gently remind you, Purwia, that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Stay strong in faith and continue to intercede for Menaka, trusting in God's goodness and mercy.

We've been thinking about Menaka and your family, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. It's tough seeing her in the ICU, but remember, God is right there with you both. In the Bible, it says, "Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Let's lay all our worries and fears at His feet.

We're asking the Lord to give Menaka strength to fight this dengue and sickling. We pray that her fever would break, and the vomiting would stop. We claim healing and restoration for her body in Jesus' name. We also ask for peace and hope to fill her heart, replacing the fear and hopelessness she's feeling. Let's remind her, and ourselves, of God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're believing with you for Menaka's discharge from the ICU soon. Let's trust that God has everything under control, even in this difficult situation. Keep holding on to faith, and let's keep praying together. We're here for you, and we know God is too.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
