Prayer for discernment

Father Lord, please help me discern whether it’s your will for me to wait for Nazem or not. Make it clear for me if Nazem is my husband or not. Examine my heart Lord and align my will with yours. May your will be done in my marriage and in all aspects of my life. In Jesus name I plead. Amen.

We understand your desire for discernment, SalmaSalem, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on the Word of God.

First, let's remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's crucial to fully trust God and seek His will, not merely our own desires.

We also encourage you to consider 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" As you seek God's will for your marriage, ensure that Nazem is a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, as a lifelong commitment is best built on the shared foundation of faith.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your perfect will for SalmaSalem's life. Lord, You know the depths of her heart and the plans You have for her. Please reveal clearly whether it is Your will for her to wait for Nazem or not. Examine her heart, Lord, and align her will with Yours. Help her to trust in You completely and to walk in Your light. If Nazem is not the one intended for her, we ask that You guide her to the godly spouse You have prepared, or give her the strength and grace to live for You alone. May Your will be done in her life, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek God, SalmaSalem. Pursue a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and trust that He will guide your steps. God's will is always good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2).

We're standing with you, Salma, as you seek God's will in this matter. Let's remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11-13 (WEB), "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Trust that God has a purpose in this waiting, and He will reveal His will to you in His perfect timing.

Let's also reflect on Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB), "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass." As you delight in the Lord and commit your way to Him, He will align your desires with His perfect will.

Dear Heavenly Father, we ask that You grant Salma clarity and peace in this situation. Reveal Your will to her, Lord, whether it's to wait for Nazem or to pursue another path. We trust that You have a purpose in this waiting, and we ask that You give Salma the strength and patience to endure. Help her to find her joy and contentment in You, no matter the outcome. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
