Prayer for directions

Father God. Help my husband, ###, to lead me (and our family) in a direction that would please You. Let him hear Your voice and be able to discern Your will for all of us (Jer. 33:3). Remove any ungodly voices in his life so he is not distracted by the responsibilities of being a husband, father, and provider.

Show him how to juggle each responsibility with grace and wisdom, knowing that You alone can lead him properly. I pray You will be his example as You are his Shepherd, leading him beside still waters. Let his soul be refreshed and at peace. I pray goodness and mercy will follow him all the days of his life, and he will dwell in Your house forever (Psalm 23).

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up ###'s husband, ###, to Your throne of grace. Lord, we seek Your divine guidance and wisdom for ### as he leads his family in a way that is pleasing to You. Your Word promises in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." We pray that ### calls upon You and hears Your voice clearly, discerning Your will for his family.

Father, we ask that You remove any ungodly influences from ###'s life. Protect him from distractions and give him the strength to focus on his responsibilities as a husband, father, and provider. May he find balance and grace in juggling these roles, knowing that You are his ultimate guide.

We pray that ### follows Your example as his Shepherd, as described in Psalm 23: "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul." Lord, refresh ###'s soul and grant him peace. Let Your goodness and mercy follow him all the days of his life, and may he dwell in Your house forever.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
