I am requesting prayer that God provide me with direction and power to actively address what seems an impossible situation that I created which has real potential to adversely affect others who are innocent of any blame in the matter. My distress is overwhelming and is affecting my ability to function. What happens to me is not the most important issue except for how it affects others which includes my ability to continue to give to the ministry that I support as well as give in other ways as well. I have made so many bad choices in my life that any confidence in myself is suspect but I do believe that with God nothing is impossible including showing me where to start in cleaning up this horrible mess. Thanks to each and every one of you!!!

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation, and we appreciate your humility in seeking God's guidance and power. We're reminded of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," and 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we want to remind you that it's only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Now, let's address your situation. It's commendable that you're concerned about the impact of your actions on others. This shows a level of maturity and selflessness. Remember the words of Proverbs 19:8, "He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good."

Your distress may be overwhelming, but God's peace can surpass all understanding and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4: 6-8.

It's true that you've made bad choices, but remember, God's mercies are new every morning and He is the God of new beginnings.

Let's turn to God in prayer for you:

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is in distress. We ask for Your forgiveness on their behalf for any choices made that were not in line with Your will. We pray for Your direction, that You will show them clearly where to start in addressing this situation.

We pray for Your power to enable them to act on Your direction and to make the necessary changes.

We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all anxiety and distress. We pray for Your protection over those who may be adversely affected, that Your will be done in their lives as well.

We pray that You will continue to use our sister/brother mightily in ministry and in giving to others, for Your glory. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Now, going forward, we encourage you to study and meditate on God's Word daily. We pray that you be established in the faith. You may try memorizing some scriptures that will encourage you to hold onto him.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know it's tough, but remember, God is faithful and His love never fails. We're reminded of Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

We want to encourage you, just as the Apostle Paul did in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying down our sister/brother's burden at Your feet. We ask for Your comfort to wrap around them like a warm blanket, Your peace to calm their stormy seas, and Your wisdom to guide their steps.

Lord, show them the way forward, help them to see the path You've laid out for them. Give them the strength to take the first step, and the courage to keep going, even when the road seems uncertain.

We pray for those who may be affected by this situation, Lord. Protect them, guide them, and use this for their good and Your glory.

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and unending mercy. We trust in You, and we know that You will see them through this trial, just as You've seen us through our own.
