We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing with depression and the difficult family situation you're enduring. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that God sees your pain and hears your cries. We are called to pray for one another, and it's our privilege to intercede for you in this situation. We are concerned though you leave out the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. Let us explain that to make you prayer life stronger. You cannot ask anything of God without doing it in Jesus' Name. It is Jesus Christ who provides salvation and any access to God
Firstly, let's address the issue of depression. God cares deeply about your emotional and mental well-being. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We pray that God will comfort you and give you His peace which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Now, regarding your family situation, God calls us to honor our parents, but He also does not condone mistreatment or abuse. It is important he obey what the scriptures command and honor your father, mother and family. Ephesians 6:2 WEB says ''Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise. In Colossians 3:13 it states "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.". It's our prayer that God will soften their hearts and open their eyes to see the error of their ways. We pray that they will start to treat you with kindness, love, and respect. Matthew 7:12 WEB says "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets."
However, we also pray that if they refuse to change, God will make a way for you to be safely removed from this toxic environment. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. He promises in Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
In the meantime, take heart in knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Some advice before getting out of this toxic environment, we recommend verse Psalm 4:3 "But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly: Yahweh will hear when I call to him." Allow God to be your safe place and put Him as your refuge.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God loves you deeply and uniquely. He has called you for great things and He has a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. The depression and toxic situation you are facing does not define you nor does it dictate your future. Be encouraged by the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let's pray together.
