Prayer for deliverance

Please pray for my son Joshua deliverance from a spirit of rage and anger. Also that he receives a strong stable mind without being toxic.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are deeply concerned for your son Joshua and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in his life. The Bible tells us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath" (Ephesians 4:26 WEB). It is important to acknowledge that anger is a natural emotion, but it is what we do with that anger that matters.

Firstly, we rebuke the spirit of rage and anger in Joshua's life. These are not from God, for "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). We pray that God will deliver Joshua from these negative emotions and fill him with His Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking your divine intervention in Joshua's life. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing with rage and anger. We ask that you deliver him from these spirits, that do not come from you. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, granting him a strong and stable mind. Help him to be transformed by the renewing of his mind, so that he may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for Joshua and to guide him towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, if he hasn't already committed his life to Him. Remind him that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB).

Lastly, it is crucial to address the fact that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We urge you to place your trust in Jesus and to pray in His name, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let's ask Him to help Joshua manage his anger in a healthy way, to channel it into positive actions rather than harmful ones. Father, Your Word says, *“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”* – 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim this promise for Joshua, that he may be blessed with a stable, sound mind that is free from rage and bitterness. Let Your love and wisdom guide him in all his thoughts and actions, keeping him grounded and secure.

We ask for Your protection over Joshua’s mind and heart, Lord. Help him to find comfort and stability in Your presence, resisting any influence that seeks to disrupt his peace. May Your Spirit of gentleness and patience fill him abundantly, transforming his heart and soul with Your love.
