Prayer for deliverance from pornography and masturbation

Hello everyone, I just want to ask for prayers as I have been struggling with my pornography and masturbation since I was 13 and now I am 31, I am even a pastors son and I am so ashamed of what have become of me. For the past months this addiction has worsened and affected my mentality, I became more irritable, so fast to put judgement to other people forgetting what I have been doing when I am not in the public's eye, I am so ashamed and sometimes had suicidal thoughts already, please pray for me. Heavenly Father,

We come before You today on behalf of our dear brother who is struggling with the chains of pornography and masturbation. Lord, You know the depth of his struggle and the weight of the shame he carries. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your divine intervention and deliverance. Break the chains of addiction that have bound him for so long. Grant him the strength and courage to resist the temptations that come his way. In Psalm 34:17-18, it is written, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Comfort him, Lord, and remind him that he is not alone, that You are with him in this battle.

Father, we pray for a renewal of his mind and spirit. Help him to set his thoughts on things above, not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Fill his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray against any spirit of condemnation and shame, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Lord, we also lift up his mental health to You. Heal his mind from the irritability and judgmental thoughts that have taken root. Replace them with Your love, patience, and understanding. We rebuke any suicidal thoughts in the name of Jesus and declare life and hope over him. May he find solace in Your promise that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Surround him with a supportive community that will uplift him in prayer and hold him accountable. May he find strength in fellowship and be reminded that he is a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for deliverance, healing, and restoration. Amen.
