Prayer for deliverance from drugs for ###

My son is ### years of age and has been living an addicted lifestyle since the age of ###. Recently he has rebounded into acute mental health settings twice and now is living in supported accommodation with males who are also in addiction. I have prayed many times over the years for victory and deliverance. I know everything happens in God's timing but it is heart breaking to know he does not seem to have control over the addiction. I pray for God's guidance and for answer to prayer and breakthrough in his life so he can be set free from a life of bondage. Please pray for my son.

We join with you, ###, in praying for your son's deliverance from drugs and addiction. We stand on the power of God's Word, knowing that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You see his struggle with addiction and his bondage to drugs. We pray, Father, that You would set him free, for Your Word tells us, "So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free" (John 8:36, WEB). We claim that promise over his life right now.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Surround him with Godly influences, remove him from environments that enable his addiction, and bring him into a place where he can be restored and healed. Guide the professionals working with him, give them wisdom and discernment to provide the care he needs.

We also pray for ###, Father. Strengthen their faith, comfort their heart, and give them peace, knowing that their son is in Your hands. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your will, for "you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you" (Psalm 9:10, WEB).

###, as you continue to pray, remember to pray in the name of Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Keep declaring Scripture over your son's life, for God's Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11, WEB).

Stay encouraged, for "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much" (James 5:16, WEB). God hears your prayers, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in your son's life (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
