We join you, Anonymous, in your heartfelt plea to understand God's Word more deeply. It is commendable that you seek a deeper understanding of the Bible, for it is the very Word of God, alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
โHeavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking that You open the eyes of our understanding. May the Holy Spirit illuminate the Scriptures for us, giving us eyes to see and ears to hear the profound truths You have for us. Remove any blockages or blindfolds that may hinder our ability to perceive Your Word. Help us to meditate on Your Word day and night, so that we may be like trees planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in its season (Psalm 1:2-3, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.โ
Remember, the Bible tells us to be doers of the Word, and not just hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22, WEB). As you seek understanding, also be obedient to what you read. God promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask Him, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to us (James 1:5, WEB).
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Continue to press into Godโs Word, and He will surely reveal Himself to you.
It is encouraging to see you ending your prayer in Jesus' name. As Scripture teaches, there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Believing in Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith, for whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Keep seeking, keep praying, and keep trusting that God will reveal His Word to you.
