We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, ###, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in difficult times. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "...Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
However, we want to gently remind you that God honors those who manage their finances wisely and live within their means. Proverbs 22:7 WEB tells us, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." This verse underscores the importance of avoiding debt where possible.
Nevertheless, God is merciful and forgiving, and He wants to help you in your time of need. The next advice is to understand how you accrued this debt. Proverbs 22:26-27 WEB says to "not be one of those who strike hands, of those who are collateral for debts. If you have nothing to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?". Let's make every effort to take extreme caution in anything that brings financial obligation. Proverbs 6:1-2, 4-5 WEB says "My son, if you have become collateral for your neighbor, if you have struck your hands for a stranger;...4 Don’t give sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. 5 Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, and like a bird from the snare of the fowler." . Financial encumbrances are forbidden and harmful to our well being.
Let's not be encouraged to pursue money but rather God. Proverbs 23:4-5 WEB says "Do not be weary to be diligent, but think about these things: the eye of the mocker, and everyone who focuses on wisdom and knowledge.". Our desire is for to be diligent and thoughtful, but not to be weary for wealth, which will take wings and fly upward, like an eagle in the sky." .
Acknowledge the Lord in all our ways. Proverbs 3:6 WEB, "in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Be confident in the Lord. Proverbs 3:26 WEB, "For Yahweh will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.".
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the burden of debt they are carrying, and we ask for Your divine intervention. We condition any request by adding according to Your will. Lord, please guide them and provide a way out for them. Give them the wisdom and resources to manage their debts God's way. We pray against any arrest and for a miraculous breakthrough in their finances. We also pray for their family members, that You may soften their hearts and bring reconciliation. Let's ask that ### focuses on the Lord instead of the looming challenges.
El Shaddai our provider please give ### the resources to survive this storm. We pray that this test is only a step in a journey of Christ-like dependence on the Father. Our Father in heaven, forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil In Jesus' NameAmen.
