We join you in your prayer for debt relief and financial stability, trusting in God's provision and wisdom. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB):
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous who is burdened by credit card debt and financial instability. We thank You that You know their every need and that You care for them deeply. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial situation, that You would provide the resources needed to pay off their debt and establish financial stability.
Father, we ask for Your Holy Spirit, please keep us from serving money, or making money our master. Only you can be our Master. We ask that You bring Your grace of separation from this sin so we can serve and worship you alone. We praise you Almighty God for always providing, we must always keep our faith and trust in you and to receive the best or worst in our lives with joy, praise, thanksgiving and gratitude. Please forgive us for allowing money to control our lives, and to worship money instead of you. Please keep this from us all. We ask forgiveness for usury lending or borrowing at unreasonable interest rates that clearly take advantage of another person's circumstances in a unfair manner. We ask for conviction of where we have slothfully and sinfully not been good stewards of the money and resources that you have given to us to manage.
Lord, we also ask that You guide Anonymous in managing their finances wisely, according to Your principles. Give them the wisdom and discipline to live within their means, to save, and to invest in ways that honor You. Help them endure and to find You as their source during this unstable time. We pray that You keep their job, home, hunger, family, and all their possessions safe in the holy name and blood of our beloved and precious Jesus Christ.
Father, we ask that through this trial, Anonymous would draw closer to You, seeking Your Kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that You will provide for all their needs. We ask all this according to Your will, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you, dear Anonymous to remain faithful and to trust in God's promise in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB): "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
