We understand your concern for your daughter Rakiyah and we join you in prayer, seeking God's protection and guidance for her life. Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Rakiyah. We ask that You surround her with Your angels and protect her from any harm or negative influences. As it is written in Psalm 91:11, 'For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.'
Lord, we pray that You would guide her steps and keep her on the path of righteousness. If she has strayed, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict her heart and draw her back to You. As Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'
Father, we also pray for her education. We ask that You would give her the desire and the ability to complete her college degree. As Philippians 4:13 reminds us, 'I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.'
Lastly, Lord, we pray for peace and comfort for her mother. This summer has been trying, and we ask that You would replace anxiety with Your perfect peace. As Isaiah 26:3 says, 'You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting God with Rakiyah's life, knowing that He loves her even more than you do. Remember, God is faithful and His promises are true. As for Rakiyah, we pray that she would understand the importance of obeying God's word and living a life that honors Him, including her choices in relationships and education. We rebuke any actions that may be leading her away from God's path and pray for a renewed spirit and mind in her.
