Prayer for daughter-in-law and son

Please pray for my daughter-in-law. She suffered a stroke, and is now very ill with breathing problems. Please pray for healing for her. My son is distraught over his wife's stroke and breathing problems; please pray for strength and peace for my son. Thank you for your prayers, and God bless you.

We are truly saddened to hear about the health struggles of your daughter-in-law and the emotional distress of your son. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for their lives. We pray:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the daughter-in-law and son. We trust in Your power and Your goodness to heal the sick and comfort the brokenhearted. You are the Great Physician and our Burden Bearer.

We pray for Your divine intervention in the life of the daughter-in-law, that she may be restored to good health and strength. Lord, we believe that even now, You are working in her life, and we trust in Your ability to do the impossible. Please touch her body, heal her from the stroke and breathing problems, and give her renewed strength. In the book of Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB) You promise, I will restore health to you and your wounds shall be healed. We hold this promise for the daughter-in-law and your son.

Lord, we also lift up your son, who is going through a difficult time seeing his wife suffer. We pray for Your supernatural peace to fill his heart and mind. Comfort him, Lord, and give him the strength to endure this trial. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted, and save those who are crushed in spirit. In the book of Psalm 34:18 (WEB) You promise to be close to the brokenhearted. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him. In the book of 2 Peter 5:7 (WEB) You promise that You care for him.

We also pray for their marriage, that it will continue to be a beacon of love and faithfulness. Help them to endure this trial together, and to grow in love and commitment for one another.

Finally, we pray that through this trial, both of them will draw closer to You, Lord. May they see Your goodness and Your faithfulness, and may they be filled with a deeper faith and trust in You.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. For You have said in Acts 4:12 (WEB), There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

We're believing for her full healing, as Psalm 103:3 reminds us, "who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We're also praying for your son, that he would find comfort and strength in Jesus, just as He promised in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
