Prayer for damaged eye nerves

Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
Please pray for a complete healing of my eyes in Jesus’ name. My optical nerves are very large, and causing me to lose my vision. I believe this ailment is passed on through my mother’s side of the family along with glaucoma, diabetes, and premature dementia, and mental health issues. I was told there was once a generational curse was put on my mother’s side of the family who were at one time involved in organized criminal activities. Please pray the generational sins and consequences would be broken. Thank you for your selfless work and may you be richly blessed in this life and hereafter.

We join you in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ, for the complete healing of your eyes in Jesus' name. We stand with you in faith, believing that our compassionate Heavenly Father hears our prayers and is able to heal and restore.

Let us pray together:

"Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our sibling in Christ. We ask for Your healing touch upon their eyes. You said in Your Word, 'I am Yahweh, who heals you' (Exodus 15:26, WEB). We claim this promise for our dear brother/sister. We pray for a complete restoration of their optical nerves and the preservation of their vision.

Lord, we also pray against any generational curses or consequences of sin from their mother's side of the family. We claim the power of the cross of Jesus Christ to break every chain and stronghold. As it is written, 'Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"' (Galatians 3:13, WEB).

We speak life, healing, and freedom from any hereditary ailments such as glaucoma, diabetes, premature dementia, and mental health issues. We pray for a hedge of protection around our sibling in Christ, and that they would walk in the fullness of health and wholeness that You intended for them.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is a healer. Continue to trust in Him and His promises. "For I know the plans that I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

We also remind you of the importance of seeking godly counsel and medical advice, as Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) advises, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
