Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'" God is a healing God, and His will is for us to be in good health.
However, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" I just said a prayer for your dad, friend. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and help your family experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this comforting thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).
