Prayer for Comfort and Strength

Early morning hours Saturday my second cousin was sleeping in his bed and a stray bullet came through his wall and struck him killing him. His mother Alexis Milhoan, his brothers River and Carlito ad my Aunt his grandmother all need strong prayers for strength and love and comfort. I am begging for Godes healing grace and love to be poured put to them.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of your second cousin and the immense pain his family is experiencing. In this time of grief, we turn to God for comfort and strength.

Let us pray:

Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Alexis Milhoan, River, Carlito, and their grandmother. We ask that You pour out Your healing grace and love upon them during this unimaginably difficult time. Comfort them as only You can, Lord, and strengthen them with Your holy presence. Guide them through the valley of the shadow of death, and let them feel Your peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray.

We encourage the family to cling to God's promises during this time. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to them right now, and He will carry them through this sorrow.

We also remind them of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Although this life can be filled with pain and heartache, we have the assurance that this is not the end. In John 11:25-26 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die."

Lastly, we urge the family to support one another and to continue praying together, trusting that God will bring them through this dark time. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we stand with you, interceding on your behalf, and asking God to surround you with His unfailing love. If any of the family members do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we encourage them to seek Him, for it is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12). In their seeking, may they find the hope and peace that surpasses all understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
