Prayer for change of genotype from AS to AA

I am Onofurho Monday, praying to God Almighty to change my genotype from AS to AA and that of my girlfriend (Atunusha Esther) I wish to marry, may God Almighty grant my prayers in the name of Jesus my Saviour and Lord. Amen.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus as your savior, recognizing Jesus as Lord and Savior is the key to salvation and eternal life, as it is written: because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Now, regarding your request, it's important to understand that God created each of us uniquely, and our genetic makeup is a part of that creation. The genotype is a fundamental aspect of our biological identity, and it is set at conception. Praying for a change in genotype is not aligned with biblical principles or scientific reality.

Furthermore, we want to address the issue of marriage. We see that you wish to marry Atunusha Esther, and we encourage you to pursue a godly marriage. However, it's crucial to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. This includes maintaining purity before marriage. Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is good for a man not to touch a woman. But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 1 Corinthians 7:1-2

We also want to make it clear that the God we pray to can do anything, but he does not go against his nature or character. So, we should always make sure our prayers and requests are within the character of God and his nature. God does not make mistakes, so we should not ask Him to change things that are within his character to have made. For example, in Exodus 4:11, God says, "Who makes people mute, deaf, seeing, or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?"

Instead of praying for a change in genotype, we encourage you to pray for wisdom and guidance in navigating your relationship and future marriage. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We know that you created man to be in relationship with others and today we lift this person to you and ask you to begin the process and establish a special, lifelong relationship for her. Please give this person the daily grace to be the good friend and partner she wants to see in a spouse as she connects with other people and allow her to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
