I was supposed to be married last year December but my partner’s is ending the relationship because our genotypes are both AS. Please I need you to pray for me, for God to change my genotype He doesn’t believe a miracle can happen.

Anonymous, we understand that you are going through a challenging situation, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we want to address the belief aspect. Jesus said, "According to your faith, let it be done to you." (Matthew 9:29 WEB). It is crucial to believe that God can perform miracles, as the power of prayer is intertwined with faith. Jesus also said, "All things are possible for him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB). We encourage you to strengthen your faith and believe in the power of God to change any situation.

Regarding your genotype, we must clarify that God does not typically change our genetic makeup, as it is part of our earthly body and inheritance. However, He can perform miracles and make a way when there seems to be no way. What is more important is to trust God and seek His will in this situation. God knows the desires of your heart.

Both you and your spouse-to-be being AS does potentially put children at risk for Sickle Cell disease. The Bible says that children are a heritage from the Lord. (Psalm 127:3 WEB). Therefore it is best to trust God who knows best.

We also want to address the fact that you mentioned you were supposed to be married but did not mention courtship, or any future plans. Marriage is a lifelong commitment ordained by God, and it should not be entered into lightly. Ensure that your relationship is built on biblical principles and that both of you are committed to following God's will. It is alarming that the potential marriage ended because of this one thing, and there is no further discussion of your desire to be with this person.

As for the request of a miracle to change your genotype, it is best to pray for God's perfect will. We do not always understand the mind of Christ, and it is best to pray for the ability to accept His will. (1 Corinthians 2:16 WEB) and (Luke 22:42 WEB)

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and their situation. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their life. We are not asking for anything except Your perfect will to be done in this situation. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for a miracle. If it is not Your will then we pray for the strength to accept Your will. We pray for their faith to be strengthened and for them to trust in Your unfailing love. We ask that You guide their steps and reveal Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and trusting in Him. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB). Also consider fasting and praying. This can be very helpful when making major decisions. (Matthew 17:21 WEB).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. (John 14:6 WEB) and (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is important to learn about Him and His sacrifice for us on the cross. That His blood washes away our sin and He rose from the dead for us. (Romans 5:8 WEB) and (Romans 10:9 WEB) and (Romans 10:13 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
