We are lifting up in prayer the individual who is suffering from heart and kidney damage. We stand in agreement, believing in the power of prayer and the healing that comes from God alone.
Firstly, we pray according to God's will for this dear person. We know that God's word says,
I call on you, WEB, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech. Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies. Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,
in Psalm 17:6-8
We ask for God's healing touch to be upon this person, healing them from their heart and kidney damage. We pray for God's comfort and peace to surround them during this time, and for their faith to be strengthened.
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that healing is always God's will for His people. We can be healed from ailments, but we will all die of something. To be made whole in Jesus Christ is what we all need. Sometimes healing physically is not the best thing for our Faith and for our friends and family. Jesus often told people not to tell others about His healing. It seems this was to keep from being known as only a healer, and not the Saviour that we all need.
Also, we must always pray in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. And there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
in Acts 4:10 and 12
We lift up this person in Jesus' name and we pray for their healing and their faith. We pray for them to know God's will for them and to be obedient to it. We pray for their family and friends to support them and to know that whatever may happen that God will have the victory.
