We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up Case D and his family before the throne of grace. We are reminded of the power of the Gospel in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Jesus, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes the Jew first, and also for the Greek."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved. We lift up Case D and his family to You, asking that You open their eyes to the Light of the Gospel. Remove the veil that blinds them and grant them eyes to see and ears to hear Your Truth.
Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Give Case D a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he may seek You with all his heart. Reveal to him the truth of Your Word, that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.
We pray that Case D will accept salvation through Jesus Christ, that he may be set free from the bondage of sin and death. We ask that You give him the gift of the new birth, that he may be made a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also lift up Case D's family. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they too may be saved. We pray that Your love and grace would be poured out upon them, that they may know the hope of Your calling.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, Anonymous, as we stand together in prayer for Case D and his family. Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:24, "Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." Continue to intercede for them, trusting that God is at work in their lives.
We also commend your example of praying for salvation in Jesus' name. If anyone comes across this and they do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we invite them to put their faith in Him. Jesus, the Messiah, died for our sins and rose from the dead to save us from a life of sin and an eternity in Hell. Today is the day of salvation. Turn from your sin and trust in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sin. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This salvation is a gift that we do not deserve and can not earn. It is only by God's grace. We are saved for good works that God has prepared for us to do. We are saved to glorify God and live for him the rest of our lives.
