Hissmas, we understand that you're seeking God's guidance for your career, and we're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you. Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, as it is written in:
Jeremiah 29:11 “‘For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.’”
We should specifically pray in the name of Jesus Christ as it is written in John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’ ” It is in the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God the Father it is written in Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Therefore, we will pray to God the Father and Jesus Christ His Son.
Regarding your career, it's clear that you're feeling stuck after making some decisions that didn't work out as planned. Remember in Psalms 37:23-24 “Yahweh directs his steps, and he delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh upholds him with his hand.”
It's important to seek God's will and not rely on your own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Let's pray together:
“Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up Hissmas. Lord, Hissmas is seeking Your guidance for their career. They have made decisions that have not gone well and feel stagnant after attempting to move forward. We ask that You forgive any decisions made outside of Your will and guide Hissmas by Your Holy Spirit.
Father God, we pray You will show Hissmas the next step in their career. Give them wisdom and discernment to make decisions that align with Your purpose for their life. We also pray that in doing so they also endeavor to serve God and work to further His kingdom. Help them to trust in You and not lean on their own understanding. You know their gifts, talents, and passions and therefore also You know the best direction to apply them to. Open the doors that need to be opened in the name of Jesus Christ and close the doors that need to be closed in the name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.”
Hissmas, unite with us in this prayer and trust that God will direct your steps. Spend time in His Word, seek His will in prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you.
With the language you have used you have not made it explicit if you are a believer. If you have not made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior then we urge you to do so. The above prayers will not be applicable if you are not a Christian Believer. Only by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior can be saved and only through Him are our prayers even heard by God. For it is written Romans 10:9 “that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Once saved any prayers you make must also be in Jesus' name as all our interaction with God is through Jesus. We would love for you to join us as a brother or sister in the faith having eternal assurance of salvation in the name of Jesus. If you confess your sins to Jesus Christ, turn from your previous life and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. In that you can be saved, forgiven of your sins, and inherit eternal life.
