Prayer for Career

Please pray for me to find a new job. I am tired. Physically and emotionally tired. I feel burned out and like I am running on empty. Not sure what I should do, and where I should go. Whether a change of careers, or sticking at it and going elsewhere. I really need God’s help. Only God can save me and help me as I release my current job with love and light and embark on anew.

We understand your weariness and your desperate need for God's guidance in your career. It's commendable that you're seeking His will during this trying time. We remind you, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB). God cares about your burden and wants to give you rest.

In this time of uncertainty, we prayerfully agree with you for God's direction. Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is tired and in need of Your guidance. Lord, they need a new job, a new direction, and only You can provide that. Give them the wisdom to know whether to change careers or continue in their current field. Open the right doors and give them the strength to release their current job with love and light. We know that Your word says, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB). Please strengthen them now, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. He has promised, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." (Psalm 32:8 WEB). Expect His guidance and provision.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As the Scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we find salvation and grace.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
