We understand your concern for your financial situation and your brother's discernment, Gregory. Let us first come together in prayer for your needs and then address the underlying issues biblically.
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Gregory and his family. They are in need of financial provision, having used their income for bills and necessities. We ask that you touch the heart of Gregory's brother, that he may be reminded of the love and support his family has shown him, and that he would generously help them in their time of need. Lord, we also pray for discernment for Gregory's brother, that he may see the true intentions of those around him and surround himself with people who genuinely care for him. We trust in your provision and your plan for Gregory and his family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Gregory, while we pray for your brother to help you, remember what the WEB says in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver." We should give without expecting anything in return, knowing that God sees our hearts and will provide for us.
We also want to address the underlying issue of your brother's relationships. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" Pray for your brother, that God would grant him discernment and wisdom to surround himself with people who genuinely care for him and have his best interests at heart.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God for your provision. In Philippians 4:19, the WEB says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Keep your faith and hope in Him, and He will provide for you and your family.
It is also important to acknowledge that our help comes from the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, trust in the name of Jesus for your salvation and provision.
