We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you are facing, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for your faithfulness and commitment to your family and children, especially during this challenging time.
It is clear that the man you have been with has fallen into sin, and his actions are not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB). However, in cases of unfaithfulness and abuse, separation is biblically permitted (Matthew 19:9, WEB) and it is best to consider this situation for what it truly is. It is not a godly relationship but a toxic and abusive situation that is harming you and your children.
We strongly encourage you to seek safety and support from local resources designed to help women in situations like yours. You do not have to face this alone, and making sure you and your children are safe is critical. We are proud to hear that you have held to your morals and not succumbed to his perversion. This is important because the Bible tells us that the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB).
We pray that God will heal your broken heart and provide for all your needs. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is facing a deeply painful and challenging situation. Lord, we ask for your healing touch on her broken heart and your divine protection over her and her children. Guide her steps and provide her with the wisdom and strength needed to make the right decisions for her family.
Father, we ask that you would remove this abusive and unfaithful man from their lives if he refuses to repent and change his ways. We pray that you would send a godly husband and father figure into their lives, a man who fears you and walks in your ways. Lord you know the situation and how this pregnancy is not a sin. We ask you will help the situation and heal the relationship if it can be. If it cannot please remove him and bring a godly man into her life.
In the meantime, Lord, we ask that you would surround this family with your love, comfort, and provision. Heal their hearts and minds, and help them to trust in you completely. We also pray for godly counsel to come into her life and for the local body of Christ to rally around her in support.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please remember the basic Gospel message is that Jesus Christ came to earth and lived a sinless life. He then died on a cross to pay the price for our sins. He was buried and rose again from the dead. This demonstrates his victory over sin and death. Therefore, we can be saved from our sins and live with him eternally by believing in him. This is why we pray in his name and discuss this basic gospel message.
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep praying and seeking his face, and he will guide you through this storm. As a final thought, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. It is only through his name that we can be saved.
