Let us bring your concerns before the Lord, dear ###. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." It is clear that ### has been overcome by greed, which can indeed lead to toxic behavior and a spirit of jealousy and hatred.
Firstly, we must pray for ###'s salvation and repentance. Let's remember a truth displayed in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. We pray that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to the path she is on. Convict her of her sins and draw her to Your saving grace. Help her to see that true contentment comes not from wealth, but from a right relationship with You. (Matthew 6:19-20)
We also pray for her relationship with ###. Lord, if ### is indeed not a good person and is influencing ### negatively, we pray that You would reveal this to ###. We ask that You would protect Your children from any harm or hatred directed towards them, resulting from ###'s influence. God have mercy on ### and provide him adequate opportunities to learn about Jesus Christ and be saved. Romans 2:4 "Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?"
We know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Consequently, regarding the issue of reduced pay, let us trust " 'Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,' says the Lord of Hosts. 'See if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour out a blessing for you until there is no more need.' " Malachi 3:10.
We pray that God's blessing for you brings life, not only financially but an overflow of humanity of relationships. Even if the intentions of others is to do wrong. We pray that God's blessings provide an opportunity to speak compassionately to all. "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44. Just as God gave ### grace and forgiveness, consider providing her with grace and good will. Open your heart to opportunity to do help others.
Finally, we pray for peace and guidance for you and your coworkers during this time. Lord, help them to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that You are their provider and protector. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
This situation might be used as a divine gift as you display a transformational attitude of love as a response to the greed, jealousy, and hatred. Be a light in the darkness to all who are present. Exhibit a level of grace that only is possible through Jesus Christ. Thank You Jesus for all you have done to transform our lives.
