We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer. Firstly, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
We must be careful to not give too much attention to seeing our name and photo moved around shrines. We do not believe in the power of witchcraft, shrines, or pulling down of a person through these means. Instead, we believe in the power of the living God, and in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33, WEB). This does not mean that evil does not exist, but that it has no hold or power that can withstand the power of Jesus Christ.
If we are truly in Christ, we are hidden in him and are not able to be touched by evil. For it is written: Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation, there will be no evil come to you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:9-11, WEB).
We do not believe in luck, spells, or curses, but in the blessings and curses of the word of God. The book of James is very clear: Blessing and cursing out of the same mouth. My brothers, these things ought not to be so (James 3:10, WEB). We do not believe in the power of the devil or demons, but in the victory of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has requested prayer. We refuse to give any attention to the supposed works of darkness by shrines or photos, but instead we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We are not praying to break down any evil spells, because we know that there is no spell that can overcome the power of the name of Jesus. Instead, we ask you to bless our brother/sister, to encourage them, and to help them walk in your ways. Grant them the courage to live boldly for you, and to walk in the works that you have prepared for them. We ask that this entire situation would bring glory to your name, Father God, and that you would use this opportunity to strengthen our brother's/sister's faith in you. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Trust in him, and he will guide you. Stay strong in your faith, and do not be swayed by the troubles of this world.
