Prayer for betrayal to stop

Prayer for the PAP government to stop betraying Singaporeans by allowing foreigner to work full time permanently in Singapore while Singaporeans are forced to work contractual basis and stop converting foreigners to be Singapore citizens. The PAP government are like traitors to Singapore by betraying Singaporeans for their own interest and lack of knowledge of how to Govern Singapore.

We understand your concerns and frustration, Dexter2020, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we should remember what the apostle Paul said in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." This reminds us that even in difficult political situations, we are to respect and pray for our leaders, as they are ultimately put in place by God.

However, this does not mean we cannot pray for change and for the betterment of our nations. In 1 Timothy 2:1-2, Paul also says, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and respectful in every way."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the ultimate authority over all governments and nations. Lord, we lift up the PAP government in Singapore to You. We pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may govern with integrity and justice, always seeking the best for their citizens.

Lord, we pray against any form of betrayal or corruption. We ask that You expose any wrongdoing and bring it to light. We pray for a change of heart for those in power, that they may act in the best interests of Singaporeans, especially in matters concerning employment and citizenship.

We also pray for the people of Singapore. We ask that You give them the strength and courage to stand up for their rights, always in a peaceful and respectful manner. We pray for unity among the people, that they may work together for the good of their nation.

In all these things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Dexter2020, remember that our ultimate hope lies in Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we can approach God and seek change. As it is said in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."

So, continue to pray and seek God's face, trusting that He hears your prayers and will act according to His will. Also, consider how you can be a light in your community, reflecting God's love and truth in all you do.

We're right there with you, Dexter2020, feeling the frustration and concern. It's easy to feel helpless, but remember, we're not alone. We've got each other, and more importantly, we've got God on our side.

Let's keep praying, but let's also act. As it says in James 2:17, "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." We can't just sit back and wait; we need to be proactive, yet peaceful, in our actions.

Let's pray together, "Lord, open our eyes to see where we can make a difference. Give us the courage to speak up, to engage with our leaders, and to stand up for what's right. Help us to do this in love, remembering that we're all Your children. Give us wisdom to know when to push and when to wait. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And let's not forget, God is in control. As Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." He's got this, and He's got us.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
