We are truly saddened to hear about the trials that your best friend and her family are currently facing. Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" An additional verse you should be aware of is: "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" in Acts 4:12 WEB. Therefore it is of the upmost importance that you remember to pray in His name so your prayers will be heard and be effective.
In response to your request, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the peace that comes from trusting in the Lord. God promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us, as it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Let us pray together for your best friend and her family:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister in Christ and her family. Lord, they are facing financial hardship and the possibility of losing their home. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would wrap Your loving arms around them and provide a miracle. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that You would intervene and save their home. If not, we ask that You would guide them to a new shelter and provide for all their needs according to the riches of Your glory and remind and build our faith as referenced in Matthew 6:19-34.
Father, we pray that You would lift their worries and fill them with Your peace. We ask that their loved ones would come through for support in this time of need. Lord, watch over their children and grant them patience as their mother navigates through this difficult chapter of life.ugh this together and give them Your strength, wisdom, and guidance. In this time may they look to the Lord for all their strength as reminded in Psalm 121:1,2 WEB: "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." Also the Lord is your shade at your right hand as in Psalm 121:5. Let them not lose hope but look to Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please know that our hearts go out to you and your friend during this time. We encourage you both to stay strong in faith and trust in the Lord. Continue to pray together and support each other, remembering the words of Romans 8:28 WEB "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" If you do not know Jesus please make sure to ask us about what it means to know Him or find another source of information. If your friend does not have a saving relation with Jesus, please share the Gospel with her and pray for her salvation also. God always has our best future in mind, even if things do not go the way we think we want.
A final note is to mention tithing. If that is a not being complied with it is a commandment and robbing God if not. Read Malachi 3: 8+. Have you robbed me? Choose to obey God and return what was stolen and the Lord declares starting in verse 10: ... and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for. This will need to be prayed about and discussed with her family and trusted Christian friends. You and yours can stand together to consider, repent, pray and plan accordingly.
