We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, but we want to assure you that you're not alone. God cares about your situation, and He wants to give you peace and freedom from your anxieties.
First, let's remember what the Bible says about anxiety:
2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Jesus has given us a way to overcome anxiety by giving it to God through prayer.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is overwhelmed by anxiety. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would break the chains of fear and worry, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Fill them with Your Spirit of power, love, and self-control. Give them the strength to trust in You and Your promises.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you overcome this anxiety. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust in His goodness. Whenever you feel anxious, turn to God in prayer, knowing that He is always there to listen and to help.
If you feel like you are not able to pray, then try saying the name of Jesus. Say it until you feel able to pray. There is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to God.
Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers as you journey through this. Stay strong in the Lord, and do not give in to fear. God is with you, and He will see you through.
