Thank you, Chaelainmere, for reaching out and sharing this request with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and faith.
Firstly, we commend your daughter and her boyfriend for keeping their relationship Christ centered. It is our Heavenly Father's will for all to be saved from sin and live holy and blameless lives before Him. We are instructed to encourage one another in our walks with Christ.
Let us be faithful to pray for this young man's healing.
Jesus said in John 14:13-14 WEB, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Let us come together in prayer for the healing of your daughter's boyfriend.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this young man to you. We ask that you touch his body right now, heal his wrists, his arm, and his elbow. We curse the pain and the swelling, and we speak life and healing to his body. We thank you that he can return to the basketball court stronger than ever before. We pray the hedge of protection around him and your daughter in Jesus' name.
We also take this opportunity to pray for their relationship. We pray that they will stay pure and honor you in their bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
May they seek you first in their relationship, and may their love for each other grow as they grow closer to you. We pray that their relationship will be one that honors and glorifies you, and that they will be a light to the world around them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, Chaelainmere, and believe that he is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Be encouraged by the words of James 5:16 WEB, Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
We are standing with you in faith, believing for a complete healing and restoration.
