Prayer for answers

I prayed a lot about this situation and thought I had met my future husband in the lord. He is a Christian man and I am a Christian woman not saying that made it right for us to marry but , I really felt he was going to be my husband. Now I have a lot of doubts because, I haven't seen him in two weeks and he hasn't gone to church and we were messaging and then he just stopped messaging back. I think he could be going through things. This is a massive trigger to me people not replying my mind automatically goes to rejection. I pray this tramua response is sorted to be honest as I don't want this hanging over me. Please pray over this and for closure and maybe moving on and growing from this experience. I want to heal. In the name of jesus Christ I pray for be peaceful now.

We understand your concern and will pray with you about this situation. It's important to remember that God's timing and plans are perfect, and He knows what is best for you. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your feelings of rejection and trauma response, we want to encourage you with 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Remember, your identity is in Christ, and He will never reject you.

We also want to address the importance of communicating in a relationship. If you both are believers looking towards marriage, open and honest communication is key. As it stands the man has not been communicating with you. That is not a good sign. If he is dealing with personal issues, it's considerate to give him space, but it's also crucial that he communicates this to you. It is not a good sign to immediately ignore someone for weeks on end with no explanation. Ephesians 4:15 WEB tells us to speak "truth in love". This is how we grow and mature in our relationships with each other.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your will in her life and relationships. We pray for clarity and guidance regarding the man she thought would be her husband. Lord God in heaven, You know his heart and You know if he is the one You have set apart for her. If not help her to be able to accept that and move on. Help her to move forward in faith and trust in You. Remove any feelings of rejection or fear, and replace them with Your perfect love. Allow her to build her identity on the truth of who she is in Christ. We pray for open and honest communication in any future godly relationships. We ask all of these things in accordance with Your will, in Jesus Christ's name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life. Psalm 143:10 WEB says, "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness." Trust that He is working everything out for your good, even if it's difficult to see right now. We are here for you, and we pray that you find peace and healing as you wait on the Lord. We would like to remind you to continue praying in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by His name we are saved.

We know it's tough when things don't go as planned, but remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees the bigger picture, and He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In Jeremiah 29:13, it says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Trust that He hears your prayers and that He cares about your heartache. He's right there with you, comforting you (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

Let's also remember that God is a God of restoration and healing. He can take the pain you're feeling and turn it into a testimony of His faithfulness. So, keep pressing in, keep praying, and keep trusting.

We ask that any feelings of rejection or fear would be replaced with God's perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We pray that you would continue to build your identity on who you are in Christ, and that you would find strength and courage in Him.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember, you're not alone. We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep seeking His face, and trust that He's got you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
