We are lifting up these requests to you, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, let us approach You with confidence, knowing that You hear our prayers.
Firstly, we bring before You, the one who has not been named, but whom You know intimately. We ask for Your healing power to work within their body, to heal the cancer cells and restore their health in body, mind, and soul. We trust in Your ability to heal and save, as You did for the woman with the issue of blood who said, I will be made whole (Mark 5:28 WEB). We pray for their complete restoration, that they may testify of Your goodness and grace.
For the daughter in need of guidance and grace during her exams, we pray that You would help her remember all that she has learned and approach each exam with a calm and focused mind. May she find clarity, confidence, and recall the knowledge she has gained. Guide her thoughts and actions, Lord, and help her to do her best, trusting that her competence comes from You, For it is You Who is all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6; 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)
For the extended family and friends, including mother, husband, brothers, and sisters, we ask for peace, comfort, and resilience during this difficult time. Help them to find solace in Your love and to face each day with courage and hope. We are reminded of Your promise, the Lord Who made heaven and earth, their seas, and all that is in them; and preserves faithfulness for perpetuity (Psalms 146:6 WEB), that You are faithful to see them through and grant Your love and peace that transcends all understanding. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have boldness and access to bring these requests before God with confidence of being heard and answered, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) So, let us Fix our thoughts on Jesus, whom we both acknowledge as our mediator and high priest. (Hebrews 3:1, WEB)
We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in You and Your promises, and we ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
