We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work and finances. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, it says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We pray that you will find peace and resolution in your battle with your former employer over your work injury claim. Praying that the Lord will guide and direct you, giving you wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your children and the loss of their father, we want to express our deepest condolences. We know that this has been a difficult time for your family, but we also know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. We pray that God will comfort your children and draw them close to Him. We also pray that He will provide for all your needs, both emotionally and physically, according to His riches in glory Matthew 6:25-34 WEB.
We want to remind you that God is always at work in our lives, even in the most difficult of times Romans 8:28 WEB. We encourage you to continue to trust in Him and seek His face. We also want to encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Lastly, we want to leave you with the words of Psalm 68:5 WEB, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." We pray that you will know that the church is your family and that God is a father to the fatherless. Lord, we lift up this family to You and ask that You continue to bless them and work in and through them. Bring them comfort, resolution, and hope in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this family to You. We pray for resolution and wisdom in the battle with the former employer. We also pray for comfort and provision for the children and the family. We ask that You will be a father to these children and draw them close to You. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
