We understand your deep longing for a husband and a child to complete your family, and we join you in prayer, standing on the promises of God. We appreciate that you ended your prayer request in Jesus' Name. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Scripture says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:8-11.
First, we encourage you to find your completeness in Jesus Christ. As the Apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 2:10, You are made full in him, who is the head of all principality and power. As a child of God, your identity and worth are secure in Him.
Regarding your desire for a husband and a child, we pray that God's will be done in your life. We pray for a godly spouse who fears the Lord, as you have requested. As it is written, A prudent wife is from Yahweh. Proverbs 19:14 WEB. And again, A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband, but she who shames him is as rottenness in his bones. Proverbs 12:4 WEB.
We also pray for the blessing of children, if it is God's will for you. Remember that children are a gift from God, and that He knows the desires of your heart. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.
However, we must remind you that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9 WEB. Trust in Him, and rest assured that He has a plan and a purpose for your life.
In the meantime, we encourage you to use this season of waiting to draw closer to God, to grow in your faith, and to serve others. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 WEB.
Join us in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who longs for a husband and a child. We pray that You would comfort her heart and fill her with Your peace. We ask that You would help her to find her completeness in You, and that You would guide her steps as she waits on Your perfect timing.
Lord, we pray for a godly spouse for her, a man who fears You and walks in Your ways. We pray for a marriage that honors and glorifies You, a union that reflects the love of Christ for His church. We ask that You would bless their marriage with children, if it is Your will.
In the meantime, Lord, help our sister to use this season of waiting to draw closer to You. Help her to grow in her faith, to serve others, and to trust in Your plan and purpose for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He knows your desires, and He has a plan for your life. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, please remember that prayer is two-way communication. Listen to God, and let the Holy Spirit guide you and give you peace.
