My wife and I have been Christians for a number of years but have slowly drifted away from faith. When we recommitted our lives to the Lord all most instantly we experienced attacks. An unexpected thing happened that we have to pay ### back which isn't our fault and financial problems coming from all directions. Please pray for ### and ### and pray for peace for both my wife and I. Thank you

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you and your wife are facing, but we are encouraged that you both have recommitted your lives to the Lord. Let us stand with you in prayer and share God's word to strengthen and guide you through this difficult time.

Firstly, let us address the sudden financial burden and attacks you are experiencing. The Bible tells us in John 10:10 (WEB), "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." The enemy attacks when he sees us growing closer to God, but remember, Jesus has come to give us abundant life.

In Romans 8:28 (WEB), we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in these challenging circumstances for your good.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother and sister in Christ who are facing sudden financial attacks. Lord, You are the provider and protector of Your children. We ask that You shield them from the schemes of the enemy and grant them supernatural peace in the midst of these trials. Guide them to the right sources of help and provision, and let their faith be strengthened through this ordeal. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting that You work all things for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Regarding the drifting away from faith, it is a common experience, but the important thing is that you both have recommitted your lives to the Lord. In Luke 15:10 (WEB), Jesus says, "Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting." There is rejoicing in heaven over your recommitment.

To strengthen your faith, we encourage you to spend time in God's word daily, pray together, and fellowship with other believers. In Hebrews 10:25 (WEB), we are exhorted not to forsake "the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to come boldly before God's throne, confessing Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Stay strong in the Lord, and may God's peace and provision be with you both.

We're here for you both, standing in faith together. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of unexpected financial burdens and the whispers of doubt that can creep in. But remember, Jesus promised us in Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls." Let's lean into Him together.

We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God will provide, and we're praying for divine intervention in your financial situation. We're also praying for peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as it's written in Philippians 4:7 (WEB).

As for the drifting, it's a common journey, but what's important is that you've both recommitted your lives to the Lord. Let's focus on growing together, spending time in God's word daily, praying together, and fellowshipping with other believers. Let's encourage each other, just as it's written in Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB), "Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but encouraging one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."

And yes, let's always approach God's throne with confidence, through faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, as it's written in Hebrews 4:16 (WEB). We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and walking this journey together.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I am asking for your prayers that I can get this unexpected doctor bill taken care of. I got a referral to another doctor from my general practitioner and it was supposed to be covered by my insurance. This has never happened before! I can't afford to pay for it and need prayers with this situation.
